Our commitment – our achievements
Equality of opportunity
Fair opportunities for everyone
Equality of opportunity forms a further important aspect of our corporate culture and is implemented by SAS in all areas. We can only be successful if our employees are also motivated and feel comfortable in their working environment – and that can only be guaranteed if all employees are also guaranteed fair opportunities.
The cultural diversity which SAS lives every day forms an important foundation for this. As we are an international concern with offices in several different countries, you will work together with colleagues from all over the world – possibly at the same location or even across different continents.
A further point with regard to equality of opportunity is that at SAS, women are also represented in specialist and management posts – without a women's quota. We challenge and encourage the professional and personal development of our female employees in order to produce equality of opportunity, for example with our possibilities for successfully combining private life and a profession. At the same time, a balanced ratio of men and women brings discernible advantages in working life which make mixed teams essential. SAS lives from different approaches and ideas and these can only be achieved through different ways of thinking.
Your further development
We challenge and encourage
The automotive sector is regarded as one of the most attractive and appealing in the world. In order to be responsible and successful here, we constantly develop the personal and professional competences of our employees further. For our success can only be secured by the expertise of our employees. We therefore hand over responsible tasks and posts to them very quickly. For this, we invest in their strengths and promote their professional development.
For is it is most important that new opportunities, challenges and professional development opportunities present themselves to our employees and that the working environment at SAS constantly improves. To this end, we carry out annual employee interviews at which employees can look at development opportunities, wishes and aims together with their line manager. Personal strengths and weaknesses are identified and personal and professional competences selectively promoted to build on this. The aim is to gibe fair and transparent feedback and also to discuss the employee's personal expectations and to create space for suggestions.
Our introduction programme
A wide variety of career opportunities
The introduction programme was set up to support new or relocated employees with the process of integration. We support you in the first months in our company, show you the new company and its location, introduce you to your team and contacts and help you familiarise yourself with your new work processes. Depending on your post, the programme comprises different stages in which all relevant areas and topics are included. It is very important for us to integrate employees correctly and comprehensively right from the start. For this reason, our introduction programme gives every new employee the possibility to quickly set up their own network within the company and to get to know its business areas thoroughly.
Once the familiarisation phase is complete and employees are firmly anchored in the company they are still looked after and supported as part of their professional development. In the course of this, employees regularly reflect on and check their own performance, whereby SAS recognises potentials and thus opens up further career opportunities for employees.
Work-life balance
Combining and enjoying both the job and private life
We are only strong and successful through our employees. For this reason it is important for us to act in a family-friendly way and to offer the best possible preconditions for mastering the big challenge of combining work and private life. For this, special importance must be attached to every single person's life. Ultimately, a well-adjusted work-life balance has a positive effect on the personal satisfaction of our employees.
We therefore offer ideal framework conditions for harmonising your professional challenges and private interests. Our flexible working time modules, flex-time accounts and individual part-time models let you profitably combine job and family. This means you can, for example, schedule your working time yourself within the framework of our operative requirements on the basis of our flexible flex-time arrangements. In addition, our individual part-time models can equally relieve personal time management, which is above all beneficial for our employees with family responsibilities and promotes the harmonisation of family and job. In addition, our part-time models also offer the option of getting back to work at an early stage. We also help you with the search for a local childcare placement for your child so that you don't need to worry about your offspring whilst at work and you know they are in good hands.

Fairness in salary matters
Through transparency and uniformity
A salary structure can only be fair if it is uniform and transparent. This prevents injustice and discontent and lays the foundation for long-term, successful and attractive collaboration. That is why we add interesting extras such as performance and incentive payments to your attractive basic salary.
Your health is important to us
Definitive health management and preventive medicine
The health and well-being of all our employees is a valuable and also an economic asset for us. We therefore take our responsibility as an employer very seriously in this respect. It is therefore a primary aim for us to maintain and promote the professional productivity and satisfaction of our staff. Since physical well-being is the basis for professional productivity, we are constantly extending our health-related services. Of course, healthy working conditions prevail at all our locations and attention is paid to varied and balanced nutrition in our company restaurants. In addition, SAS has built up a distinctive health management system including preventive medicine, medical care, plant medical services and sports facilities. Our workplaces can also be equipped ergonomically if necessary. With our support, your body and mind remain constantly fit. We also offer various opportunities for making friends with colleagues after work. There is something for everyone whether you prefer sport or culture.
